I've just heard that Rogers Plus stores have some really good deals on PSP consoles right now:
PSPgo (not sure if it's the 3 game bundle) - $124.99
PSP Rockband bundle - $99.99
Other PSP bundles, PSP games & accessories - 50% off
Killer deals! I will be checking it out ASAP though I *won't* buy another PSP console, because I have too many already!

PSP3000 core systems are now on sale for $129 at Walmart. How long before Sony announces their next portable console?
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing we should keep our eye on Tokyo Game Show in September.
ReplyDeleteBut then again, I wouldn't be surprised if Sony left a big gap with no announcement for 2009 at all. With Sony Computer Entertainment, they're so hopelessly screwed up that I can't even predict what they're thinking.

And now PSPGo bundles for $199. Too bad I already got 2 of these 3 games.
ReplyDeleteMaybe Sony wants you to re-sell your UMD copies of those games (assuming you have UMD copies of them) and keep the digital copies. With all the complaining about "how the used game market is killing the business", you'd think Sony (also a game developer) wouldn't be encouraging people to resell their physical games, but Sony Computer Entertainment is such a messed up company that I can't ever guess why they do things.
ReplyDeleteOops, I said pretty much the exact same thing in my previous reply... guess I have a big beef with SCE, y'think?? ;)
But the good thing about digital copies is they can be used on multiple PSPs, so if you got a PSPgo, any games you buy for it can also be downloaded to your other PSP... I'm betting that the 3 free games just show up on the download list so they should act the same as any other non-rental content.
